Lorena Labs

Logical Renaissance

Software is being rewritten by machines at a pace no review process can match. We think the answer is not slower machines. It is better ground.

Certainty beneath radical change

Lorena Labs builds Tarski, the logical backend platform. Our conviction is old-fashioned and, we think, newly urgent: the parts of a system that matter should be consequences of mathematics, not aspirations of an implementation.

The tools we draw on — fixed-point semantics, locality, the guarded fragment — come from a century of logic that made truth something a machine can compute. What's new is the need: when agents write the code and agents run inside it, the human's job collapses to one question. What still holds?

Tarski is our answer. A platform where state is computed, walls are checked, history is kept, and approval means evidence.

What we believe
  • 01Statements over promises. "Nothing is forgotten," not "we'll never lose your data."
  • 02Walls, not guidelines. A boundary that depends on good behavior is not a boundary.
  • 03Evidence is the interface between humans and generated systems.
  • 04The future should feel calm. Wonder first; then quiet confidence.
the name

Named for the man who defined truth.

Careers

No open roles currently.

We are a small team across engine, product, and developer experience, and we are not hiring at the moment. When that changes, openings are listed here first.

If you find a well-stated invariant more exciting than a well-funded roadmap, we are still glad to hear from you. Tell us what you would want to work on and we will keep it on file.

Truth, computed.
